Magna is a phenomenological exploration of the Earth from above and below the surface. It combines 16mm and Super 8 with digital video captured on location at the Furnas Volcano (São Miguel Island, Azores), Poas Volcano in Costa Rica, inside the Mylodon Cave in Chile, and other space analogue locations. Magna is meant to be viewed in 4:3 format.
