Magna is a phenomenological exploration of Earth from above and below the surface. It combines 16mm and Super 8 with digital video captured on location at the Furnas Volcano (São Miguel Island, Azores) and other space analogue locations.

The black-and-white 16mm footage interspersed throughout was filmed in Midcoast Maine.
