Sevil Dolmacı Dubai is delighted to present From Fragments to Coherence, a compelling group exhibition curated by İpek Ulusoy Akgül, and featuring works by Cristiana de Marchi, Deniz Özuygur, Ebru Döşekçi, Hala Schoukair, Hangama Amiri, Hiba Kalache, Kıymet Daştan, Nevin Aladağ, Onur Hastürk, Sabine Boehl, Sara Al Haddad, Sage Lewis, and Sinem Sezgin Bozkurt.
I extend tremendous thanks to Ipek and Consciously Curated curatorial advisory for the insight and care in bringing together this group of artists and works in the beautiful Dubai space of Sevil Dolmaci Gallery, and to Ezra Ozkan and the Sevil Dolmaci team for directing all the important details to make the exhibition a success.
The exhibition features two of my works, a video piece titled Viking Lander, which reimagines the first images captured of Mars in the 1970s and a silk assemblage titled Moving Image Panorama comprised of a still image from the video.
